Established in 1972 by Mr. S.C. Sehgal, Poplon India carries forward a legacy of excellence in the dyes and chemicals industry. Our roots trace back to 1972, when Mahalaxmi Textile Industries was founded in Amritsar, manufacturing Direct dyes, Acid dyes, and metal-complex dyes. This was followed by Punjab Rang Udyog, established in 1983 in Amritsar for acid dye production. Today, Poplon India stands as the continuation of this rich heritage, driven by innovation and quality.
Under the leadership of Mr. Vivek Sehgal , we specialize in acid dyes and metal-complex dyes for leather, silk, wool, and nylon. At Poplon India, we believe that "Colour Chemistry is Life."
